Our Team

Dr. John Mady, DDS, MS, FAGD

My goal is to be compassionate and to give patients control over choosing from the best viable treatment options. I also want patients to proceed at a pace that is comfortable for them. I make every effort to listen to patients’ concerns, answer their questions, and see if they’ve had any bad experiences in the past so that we can have the best chance of having positive outcomes moving forward. I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful team to help me in fulfilling this mission.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercise and sports, especially basketball! I have a lovely wife and son named Brayden!

Dr. Mady’s Highlights:

  • Doctor Of Dental Surgery (DDS) – New York University 2013
  • Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science (MS) – Rutgers 2009
  • Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) – 2019
  • License in Oral Conscious Sedation
  • Member – The American Academy of Implant Dentistry

In order to earn a Fellowship from the AGD, dentists must complete a minimum of 500 Continuing Education hours in approved categories and pass a comprehensive exam. Only 6% of dentists have achieved this and Dr. Mady is one!

Alexia – Treatment Coordinator

I have always been intrigued by all the technology, procedures, techniques used in dentistry for preventing, diagnosing and treating oral health. It’s fulfilling to me when our patients are satisfied. I feel that Spring Valley Dental Care is a staple in Bergen County, with a great track record. Our staff and patients are one family and we work to build a strong, inclusive community.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family and taking my dog, Romeo, to the dog park or on nature walks. I also love to travel and try new restaurants!

Alexia’s Highlights:

  • Bachelor of Sciences in Biology, Pre-Dental – Barry University
  • CPR / First Aid Certification
  • ALICE Certification
  • OSHA Training
  • HIPAA Training

Justin – Appointment Coordinator

My passion for dentistry arose from being a patient first. Ensuring the utmost care is provided to make your experience at Spring Valley Dental Care comfortable and fluid is what motivates me! I love interacting with people and helping them find ways in which we can provide them with service that is tailored to their needs. I feel part of a synergistic team that thrives on our ability to communicate and deliver the treatment you deserve.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy cooking and bike riding.

Heather – Dental Assistant

I have a bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of South Florida. I worked as a Dental Assistant in Florida before moving to New Jersey. What I like about dentistry is being able to help people and make them feel comfortable. I also like how the field is constantly changing for the better. I feel blessed to work at Spring Valley Dental Care because our work environment is comfortable and fun!

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking with my husband, reading, watching movies or FaceTiming with my family.
